This week in Dynamics 365 CRM Support, I’m going to show you how to install the Gamification Plug-in in Dynamics 365 for Sales CRM.

Gamification in Dynamics 365 can be used to create competitions that motivate employees to achieve certain KPI goals.

See below for video and instructions:



NOTE: You will need global administrator credentials to set up the Gamification plug-in for Dynamics 365 for Sales.

1.) Go to the Office 365 admin center and sign in.

2.) Choose Admin > Dynamics 365 to go to the Dynamics 365 Administration Center.

You should see a list of your Dynamics 365 instances. If you do not, click the Instances tab.

3.) Select the instance you want to add the Gamification plug-in to and click the Manage your solutions icon in near the bottom of the description box to the right.

From here, you can look for the available solutions for this instance.

4.) Select Gamification and click Install.

Usually it will take about 5-10 minutes to completely install the plug-in for you.

5.) Go back to the Dynamics 365 Administration Center.

6.) Select your instance and click Open.

7.) Go to Settings > Solutions and double click on Gamification.

8.) Click Start Activation and follow the steps to log into your instance.

You’ll have to wait for a while until it authenticates the Gamification instance.

9.) Click Start Activation > Generate Security Key.

10.) Copy your security key and paste it in the box below, then click Activate.

After a few moments, you’ll get a congratulations message.

11.) Click Continue.

12.) Click Open Gamification Portal. It will open in a different URL.

NOTE: You may need to wait a few minutes. Sometimes it can take some time for the plug-in to take effect.

After you successfully launch the portal, it will look like this:
